Help
1. Navigating the site
Our homepage gives you three ways to access information about the LMU Schools Partnership.
Route 1 -- If you are not sure which document you wish to print, or would prefer to explore the site rather printing anything straight away, from the homepage choose either the
or
icons. These will take you to the sections of the site dealing with primary/middle school teaching, and secondary school teaching respectively. The main purpose of the LMU Schools Partnership website is to provide official documents in an easy to print format, so wherever you see the printer icon
at the top of a page click on it to display a ready-to-print Microsoft Word version of the web-page. (Get help with printing)
Route 2 -- If you know exactly which document you wish to print, from the homepage select the appropriate document from the drop-down list. This will open a ready-to-print Microsoft Word version of the document in a new window. (Get help with printing)
- Route 3 -- If you just want to check calendar details for either course, from the homepage choose either the primary or secondary calendar icon
this will open the appropriate calendar in a new window. If you require a printable version of the calendar, simply click the printer icon
at the top of the page. (Get help with printing)
2.Viewing/Printing Microsoft Word Documents
If you cannot open the documents, it may be that you do not have Microsoft Word installed. You can, however, download the Microsoft Word Viewer for free from Microsoft's Website. This will allow you to view and print the Word documents.
If you are using Internet Explorer, after clicking on a printer icon or selecting from the drop-down list on the homepage, the word document you wish to print will open in a new browser window. Some of these documents are quite long and may take a few minutes to appear so please be patient.
When the document is fully loaded, from the Internet Explorer menus choose File then Print, or press P whilst holding down the Ctrl (Cmd for Mac users) key to display the printing options. Ensure the options are correct, eg. the print all pages option is selected if you wish to print the entire document, then choose OK.
If you are using Netscape, when you select the printer icon, or the entry in the drop-down list for the document you wish to print, Netscape will display the document by running the Microsoft Word program, if you have it installed. You may be asked whether you want to open the file or save it. Select the "Open it" option then click OK.
